The SC-1 surgical camera uses a Sony IMX291 CMOS color image sensor and a rolling shutter to deliver crisp 2.12 megapixel (1945 x 1097 pixels) images in MJPEG format. This camera can also capture stunning quality video at three different resolutions, VGA (640 x 480 pixels), HD (1280 x 720 pixels), and FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels), at a steady 30 frames per second. In addition, build-in flicker settings help prevent image degradation from light source flickering and eliminate image distortion caused by electric scalpel use.
Neitz Capture Software
The included Neitz Capture Software provides a straightforward user interface without skimping on settings. The software makes capturing images and video simple with its intuitive design and lets users easily adjust exposure, color temperature, gain, saturation, sharpness, and gamma correction. Best of all, installation is painless – no drivers required. Just install the software and connect the camera using readily available USB Mini-B.
The surgical camera that proposes a solution to your problem.
The SC-1 is built as a companion to the BL surgical loupes series and is compatible with both available headsets. Since the BL line was created with comfort in mind, the SC-1 has a small frame (20mm x 20 mm x 23 mm) and only weighs approximately 12 g, reducing the risk of neck strain after a long day in the clinic. With this dedication to user experience, optical clarity, and versatility, the SC-1 is the camera of choice for anyone using surgical loupes.
